Catalyst Foundation is an inclusive, independent and charitable organisation seeking to improve the lives of all South Australians in the areas of Ageing, Disability, Lifestyle, Employment, Business and Learning.

Also known and trusted in South Australia as Seniors Information Service, we changed the organisation’s name to Catalyst Foundation in 2016 to reflect the growth in our services, the communities we serve and to underline the value of making a difference through action.

We provide information on:

  • Housing and low cost rental accommodation
  • Residential aged care
  • Concessions and benefits
  • Independent living and home support
  • Retirement housing

We provide support to all South Australians and have a special focus on:

  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders Communities
  • Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Communities
  • Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex and Queer Communities

Our services include:

  • Ageing SA -accommodation placement  and aged care service assistance
  • Disability Information resources for people living with disability
  • Support to navigate My Aged Care, myGov, NDIS, service websites
  • Legal Services including Legal Brokers and Legal Services Clinic
  • Seminars and Community Education on Aged Care, Home Care, Accommodation Options, Retirement Living and lifestyle matters including Estate Planning and Advanced Care Directives, Financial Planning and accessing Public Transport
  • IT Training and support including learning to use computers, tablets and smart phones
  • Tax Help
