Conflict to Cooperation

Difficult conversations cannot always be avoided when we are working in the human services. Conflict is a challenge we all face when attempting to communicate about difficult topics.

This session will explore the elements of challenge in specific scenarios that we may encounter in our work. Case studies and group work will be a part of this interactive session.

Learning Outcomes:

Develop confidence to approach conflict within a conversation toward collaboration and cooperation.

Gain deeper understanding of how and why conflict arises through exploration of specific conflict scenarios.

Identify strategies that can shift difficult conversations into meaningful communication.
