Tax Help Centre is a community-based program which aims to provide free assistance and education to low-income earners and disadvantaged people.
Volunteers trained by the Australian Taxation Office are allocated to Catalyst Foundation to provide free and confidential tax help. Tax Help Volunteers can help you lodge your tax return or amendment online or claim a refund of franking credits.
If the Tax Help volunteer works out that you don’t need to lodge a tax return, they can help you complete a non-lodgement advice.
Tax Help is available from July to October.
