Occupational Therapist – Multiple positions

About the Company 

The Catalyst Foundation is a not for profit organisation and leading provider of community information in SA. We connect people to services and we provide free and independent information to all South Australians.  

The Independent Living Centre South Australia (ILCSA) supported by the Catalyst Foundation is staffed by Occupational Therapists. We provide information and advice on equipment, assistive technology and techniques to help people improve their quality of life and maintain their independence 

Join us and be supported and valued as a team member in our North Adelaide office. We have an equipment and lifestyle showroom onsite. The ILCSA showroom provides the therapist with an opportunity to interact with a variety of clients, and exciting sector providers to contribute to the development of safe and independent pathways for all people.

About the role

An exciting and supported role, providing the opportunity to grow with us, working across multiple funded programs – bring your passion for Occupational Therapy, clear clinical reasoning and willingness to think creatively. 

Summary of duties

  • Assessments and report writing – including HCP, CHSP and NDIS for a diverse provider network 
  • Presentations and participation in forums and expos for both public and sector
  • Showroom visits for advice, support and education for both public and sector 
  • Phone and email enquiries from both public and sector.
  • Contribute to the development and evaluation of high quality services. 
  • Participate in professional development programs including funded courses, clinical supervision and in-house programs.
  • Participate in the multi-disciplinary management of patients throughout their healthcare journey. 

Skills and experience:

  • Bachelor degree qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • AHPRA Registered Occupational Therapist
  • Australian work rights (valid visa, PR or Citizenship)
  • High quality communication and organisation skills. 
  • Willingness to learn, develop and contribute to a growing team.
  • Current drivers’ license 
  • Current vaccination status
