ACCAN – Your telco rights

Talking Telco” is the Australian Communications Consumer Action Network’s refreshed suite of consumer education materials. The resources aim to help you understand your telco rights and how to make a complaint if you can’t resolve the problem with your provider.

Short exercise sessions at Junction Community Centre

Junction Community Centre at Ottoway offers short 10-minute sessions ‘targeted at people who may be working from home or sitting a lot’. They are designed to ‘get people up and moving a little – to strengthen the weak muscles and lengthen the shortened muscles’ (this means there’s still hope for me to come out looking like Elle McPherson)!

They are short 10-minute sessions that are open to the public on Mondays to Thursdays at 12:30, 1:00, and 1:30 pm if anyone would like to join in.

12.30pm –

1.00pm –

1.30pm –

Exercise and Sports Science Australia (the peak body for Exercise Scientists and Exercise Physiologists) have included these as featured events in Exercise Right Week (this week). This is a great honour because usually they will only feature events lead by fully accredited professionals (rather than placement students).
